Our Senior School students embarked on an adventure on 10-Sept, when Lt. Cdr. Abhilash Tomy, the first Indian, second Asian and Seventy ninth in the world to circumnavigate the globe solo in 151 days came calling @GPS. The brave seafarer with his tales of grit, courage and valour heightened  the patriotic fervour of the young ones as he displayed photos and videos of the Indian Flag fluttering high on the high seas.Grade 4 students who had done a project on him in term 1, were really astonished to shake hands with a real life hero .

Teacher's Day Celebration at Global Public School

Teachers@Play

Teachers@GPS were made to feel extra special by Gpsites on Teacher’s Day. The Student council and Grade X students took charge of school and conducted the assembly.  The school band PitchBlack played their own composition ‘Live this Moment’. The song “You Raise Me Up” was rendered as a special song for all the Teachers.
Teachers were then taken off to an exciting round of games , grouped into teams of twenty  each to perform ten different tasks. This brought out the child  in every teacher, and the team spirit in every teacher…….The stage was set on fire by the dance performance of the girls, to which the teachers joined in with their style and rhythm. The students gifted  every teacher handmade cards and sweets to show their gratitude. The day’s highlight was the competition of student-teachers who taught each class with enthusiasm. September 5th 2013 will indeed be  etched into the golden memories into every GPS teachers’ lives
